1. Family members, friends, etc. of the patient may offer to assist with communication between the patient and the healthcare provider, but we ask that they are accompanied by a medical interpreter with specialist knowledge to prevent possible errors in the translation of medical terms and to protect personal data.
2. Takatsuki General Hospital provides an interpretation service for patients who are unable to be accompanied by a medical interpreter. If a healthcare provider finds it difficult to communicate with a patient in Japanese, they may suggest the use of an interpreter service.
Although every effort is made to respect your religions and beliefs (meals, prayer etc.), please note that we may not be able to meet all of your requests and requirements.
We do not provide a service to translate medical information from previous doctors. Please ensure that the information has been translated into Japanese or English in advance.
The instructions and consent forms used at our hospital shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Japanese law.
